why does Rick have a signature

[Rick]

There is an ancient myth that says that if you don't have a signature, people will forget who you are and you'll fade away...

The spirits of signatureless posters still whisper to us from their ephemeral realm... Rick has heard the whispers and taken measures to ensure he does not join them.
